Oates Cottages

Oats Cottages, rural housing project Gestingthorpe

(Outline only of the conditions - not a legal document)

One of oats cottages is available at an "intermediate" rent (lower than free market, but not as low as 'affordable' housing), or for part rent, part ownership.

The housing is only available to people in/with strong connections to Gestingthorpe (e.g. brought up in village) in need* of a 2 bedroomed house, or if there are no takers, from abutting rural parishes. (They need/should be registered with Braintree District Council)

Full details are available from the Clerk or from BDC.

Gestingthorpe Community Speed Watch

Therefore if anyone is interested in volunteering to assist with the Speed Watch could they please contact Peter Collett.

email – peter@thecollettfamily.co.uk

Tel. – 01787 469187
